My toddler likes "helping" in the kitchen so I got this for her. She already has the wooden chopper knife, and it's a great starting place, but I wanted to get her the plastic knives and the gloves. Honestly, *I* like the plastic knives, too - they work really well!

My kids always want to help so instead of giving them real knives, I gave them these and they are just as sharp on the vegetables and not on their skin! I love how safe they are to use.

Excellent set that is exactly as advertised. I texted the blades before letting my clumsy 4 year old try to out. I could not cut and would need to use adult-sized force to injury myself. It will work to cut ripe fruit, sandwiches, or other kid friendly food. Really cool set for a kid that I wish I had when I was younger!

My 2 year old LOVES being able to cut his own banana slices and help me make simple stuff. The push down knife is PERFECT for tiny hands, and the cutting board is just the right size for him. The bread cutter is super cute and works really well. Creates a perfect seal on a PB&J. My 2 year old also digs having his lunch meat cut into fun lol shaped.
We haven't used the other stuff in the set yet, as my toddler is still too tiny, but from the feel of the plastic knifes, I'm sure they're going to work exactly as expected.
